The HCAP is a state-of-the-art WORM ("write once, read many") system that preserves data so that it cannot be overwritten; in order for datato be altered or deleted, an engineer must remove it manually. This functionality provides unparalleled protection from file corruption, viruses and accidental deletion. The HCAP also provides a number of other advanced protections such as the ability to detect and counteract silent data corruption in real time.
